Mark Mountjoy is the founder of Atavist theology and of Atavist Bible Church. The four convictions of this study — Trinitarian confession, open theism with a closed New Testament timeline, the Hasmonean fourth kingdom, and one cohort from AD 26 to AD 136 — are his map, not a generic preterism with the dates filed off.

He is not a full preterist. Full preterism pays every bill in AD 70 and then has to read Revelation 20 as a second pass at Revelation 19. Atavist theology lets the first war take the house down and the second war scatter the chaff. True Christian Press is the public desk of that argument.
